Electronic Delivery of Software Go Live and Delayed Availability of Electronic License Delivery (ELD) SKUs

Today is an important milestone in our Business Modernization efforts, as Autodesk now begins to provide electronic delivery of licenses and software for the majority of our software products available in specified
countries in EMEA*. Partners will not experience major changes to how they transact business today; they will continue to order serialized box SKUs.  However, if they place a dedicated order providing the customer information, they and their customers will receive the serial number and instructions for downloading for added convenience by email as well.
Autodesk previously announced that as part of these Business Modernization efforts, ELD SKUs would also be available on December 3 to allow partners to order ELD SKUs instead of serialized box SKUs. However, the new ELD SKUs that are currently in Q4 price lists will not be orderable until further notice.
In order to ensure you are familiar with the new end-to-end customer experience please watch the helpful 4 minute demo, now available on the Electronic License Delivery (ELD) Resource Center on Partner Portal here. In addition you’ll find a detailed Frequently Asked Questions document and other related support materials, all designed to make this transition a positive experience not only for our customers but for also for our valued partners.
